Love! Well written and heart-felt!
Thanks Cat!!!
I really love your blog, Heather. Wise witty and fun!
Thanks Linda! I feel the same about your blog!
I enjoyed reading your poetry, and I love the picture in your header – beautiful dog!
Thank you! That is my dog Ginger in the header. She’s my muse (LOL) and the greatest little dog! I really enjoyed Small Town. I completely related to it. My childhood was also “full of wonderful nothing.” What a great way of expressing it!
I am grateful for your follow and very pleased to follow your thoughtful blog. Peace! –Dennis
I enjoy your work, but I really love that dog. Is it your dog? Was that a staged picture or kismet? I love consonance/dissonance (not sure which) between the shape of the dogs ears and the shape of the chair back. 🙂
Thank you! That’s Ginger. My husband snapped the pic and is so proud of himself. Although not staged, he takes credit for having the eye to catch the perfect moment. I’m not too sure about that. It may just be a case of serendipity. LOL! Isn’t that funny the way the line of her ears mirror the chair? She is the greatest little creature. I had wanted a Newfoundland, but, after having grown tired of dealing with breeders, I grabbed the kids, went to the humane society and came home with Ginger. The best decision ever! She’s as sweet, soulful and silly as she looks! We think she’s a Jack Russell, dachshund, chihuahua mix, but no one really knows. The only thing we know for sure is that she is awesome!
Thank You, Heather, for following my blog, i appreciate it
and i’m happy to have found you.
Best Wishes
john
